Convenient Public Transportation & Shuttles Available for Visitors

RabbitTransit has announced its summer and fall 2022 schedules of public transportation and shuttle bus schedules for Gettysburg.
The Lincoln Line/Outlets shuttle began circulating Sunday, May 1, 2022. The Lincoln Line/Outlets will operate daily through Dec. 3, and travels from downtown Gettysburg via Steinwehr Avenue to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, as well as the Outlets on Baltimore Pike. Visitors to Gettysburg who purchase a Museum & Visitor Center/Gettysburg Foundation experience ticket can ride the shuttle free of charge with proof of ticket purchase to these National Park Service and Gettysburg Foundation experiences:
- Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, 1195 Baltimore Pike
- Children of Gettysburg 1863 children's history museum, 451 Baltimore Street
- David Wills House, National Park Service museum, 8 Lincoln Square
- Ticket to the Past - Unforgettable Journeys virtual reality experience at the Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad StationTM, 35 Carlisle Street
The Gold Line parking shuttle begins circulating Memorial Day weekend on Friday, May 27, 2022. The Gold Line will operate Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Labor Day weekend. The Gold Line also operates daily during the week of Independence Day and the Battle Anniversary.

The shuttle bus circulates between parking areas, park landmarks on route and the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center with service approximately every 30 minutes at each location between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Fare is free of charge for National Park Service and Gettysburg Foundation locations with proof of purchase from the Museum & Visitor Center or an National Park Service identification. Visit Rabbit Transit online for other schedules, routes and fares.

Visitors are advised to park in Lots 1 and 3 at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center for best access to the facilities and experiences at the Museum & Visitor Center and to shuttle from the Museum & Visitor Center to the National Park Service and Gettysburg Foundation downtown historic sites and experiences.
