Since opening its doors in 2008, the Museum & Visitor Center has welcomed more than 15 million visitors from around the globe to Gettysburg. Proceeds from tickets and other purchases in the Museum & Visitor Center benefit Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site.

"On behalf of the Foundation, its Board of Directors, staff and volunteers, we are pleased to present more than $492,000 to Gettysburg National Military Park through our operation of the Museum & Visitor Center," said Gettysburg Foundation interim president and CEO, David Malgee." We look forward to continuing our partnership with the National Park Service, to support the national parks at Gettysburg and to welcome our community and visitors to Gettysburg to learn about and experience this special place for generations to come," added Malgee.

The funds raised will go towards helping Gettysburg National Military Park preserve, protect and interpret the resources associated with the Battle of Gettysburg.
