Stewards of National Park Service Sites
Oct 24, 2025
As the official non-profit partner of the National Parks at Gettysburg, the Gettysburg Foundation is honored to be a steward of Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site.
As a committed steward of Gettysburg's history, land, historical structures and artifacts, the Foundation takes this time to remind the pubic that we are all stewards of National Park Service sites. The safety of our visitors is our priority, as well as the protection of Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site.

During the federal government shutdown, while visiting Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site, thinking like the cavalry and being the eyes and ears for the National Park Service is important. If you see something, say something, and dial the Adams County non-emergency line at 717-334-8101. If there is an emergency, dial 911.
